ENCIK SAIFUL BAHRI Zainuddin– CHAIRMAN

Encik Saiful Bahri Zainuddin

Encik Saiful holds a degree of Bachelor of Science, Majoring in Economics and Finance from the Western Michigan University, USA and has more than fourteen years experience in the Malaysian stockbroking industry.

Encik Saiful started his stockbroking career with Rashid Hussain Securities Sdn Bhd. He was Head of Institutional Dealing and set-up and built the Domestic sales team. Later, he was made General Manager and Director of Rashid Hussain Securities Sdn Bhd.

In 2000, he joined Fima Securities Sdn Bhd as Chief Executive Officer/Executive Director Dealing. He was also made a Director and a member of Investment Committee of Fima Asset Management Sdn Bhd.

He subsequently re-joined Rashid Hussein Securities Sdn Bhd as Executive Director in 2001 before his present appointment at Affin Securities Sdn Bhd since February 2002.

MR. YAW CHUN SOON - PRESIDENT
Mr. Yaw Chun Soon is TA Securities Berhad's designated Executive Director, Operations. He read law at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand and has also completed the Management Development Program in 1995 at the Asian Institute of Management.

After 6 years as an advocate and solicitor, he joined TA Securities Bhd as a Senior Legal Manager. Mr. Yaw then went on to serve in various capacities within the TA Group the last being the position of General Manager.

He also sits on the board of TA Securities Berhad and a host of other companies within the TA Group.

Mr Lee Yew Kin has been with the AmBank Group (formerly known as Arab-Malaysian Banking Group) for 25 years in various capacities in the following companies :

- Arab-Malaysian Merchant Bank Berhad
- Arab-Malaysian Credit Berhad.

He is presently the Executive Director Operations of AmSecurities Sdn Bhd and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

MR TAN HONG PENG
Mr Tan Hong Peng, is the Executive Director of Avenue Securities Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Avenue Group.

He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and has over 18 years of experience in the field of auditing, financial management, corporate planning, corporate finance and stockbroking.

Y.BHG. DATO' SERI HWANG SING LUE
Dato’ Seri Hwang Sing Lue is the founder and Executive Chairman of Hwang-DBS Securities Berhad and has over thirty-two (32) years of experience in the securities industry. Singe August 1995, he has held the position of Executive Chairman of Hwang-DBS (Malaysia) Berhad, a company listed under the Finance Sector of the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. He also sits on the Board of Bursa Malaysia Berhad and is a member of the Compensation Committee, Participation Committee and Risk Management Committee of Bursa Malaysia Berhad.

Dato’ Seri Hwang is also actively involved in the rubber industry, holding the position of a Board Member of the Malaysian Rubber Board, an Arbitrator of the Panel of Malaysian Rubber Exchange of Arbitrators, President of the Federation of Rubber Trade Associations of Malaysia and Chairman of the Northern Malaya Rubber Millers and Packers Association.

She plays a significant role in this organisation as her outstanding capabilities have helped steered the Company to its present prominent status.

She joined K & N Kenanga Bhd (“KNK”) as Finance Manager in 1980 and was promoted to General Manager in 1984. Her strong background in audit enabled her to set up the internal controls and reporting systems for the Group.

She is a member of the Malaysian Institution of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM).

She did her articleship in Azman, Wong, Salleh & Co and Ernst & Young from 1970 to 1974 and held various positions up to Audit Manager level from 1974 to 1980.

She was a Committee Member of the Association of Stockbroking Companies Malaysia from 29 October 1999 until 31 December 2001. Previously, she held the position of Vice President of the Futures Broker Association from 1997 to 1999 and as Director of the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Clearing Berhad from 1 September 1999 to 31 December 2000.

She sits on the Boards of K & N Kenanga Bhd, Kenanga Nominees (Tempatan) Sdn Berhad, Kenanga Nominees (Asing) Sdn Bhd, Kenanga Deutsche Futures Sdn Bhd, Kenanga Capital Sdn Bhd, Kenanga Asset Management Sdn Bhd, Kenanga Investment Management Sdn Bhd, Kenanga Unit Trust Berhad and Kenanga Management & Services Sdn Bhd.

MR LAU YEW KONG, JAMES
Mr Lau Yew Kong, James commenced his career as a graduate trainee in the audit department of Arthur Young in Australia. He was promoted Manager - Corporate Advisory Services in 1996. Assignments included a 3-month secondment in 1984 to Arthur Young Hong Kong for a special liquidation project on a failed group; share valuations, mergers and acquisitions and company floatations in Australia.

He left accounting profession at the end of 1986 to become Research Manager at a local stockbroking firm, H Poynton & Co. Returned to Malaysia in April 1988 following a job offer from CIMB Securities as Head of Research Assignments included the public floatations of and international roadshows for Kedah Cement and Tenaga Nasional.

In 1990, prepared a conceptual paper for the formation of The Kuala Lumpur options & Financial Futures Exchange. Was seconded in 1991 to KLOFFE as its General Manger responsible for implementation of the Exchange. Upon completion of implementation of the Exchange, returned to CIMB to head the futures broking operation in 1995.

Appointed Chief Executive Officer of SBB Securities Sdn Bhd in October 1997.
